Look for more rain across the Big Country and Concho Valley to end the week.
A cold front that pushed through Thursday night will keep the severe weather threat low on Friday with severe weather expected more in Central and South Texas.
Temperatures will stay mild near 70 Friday afternoon with an overcast sky.
The upper level low west of Texas will provide the energy to support scattered showers and storms throughout the day.
It will be mostly cloudy and in the mid 50s Friday night with a few more showers possible.
Shower chances will be limited to mainly the morning hours on Saturday with mild temps in the mid 70s and a partly sunny sky by the afternoon.
Mother's Day still looks nice with temps near 80 and a mostly sunny sky.
