ABILENE, Texas -

After a few storms Tuesday night more storms will be possible across the Big Country on Wednesday afternoon and evening.

More clouds than sun can be expected Wednesday with temperatures reaching into the mid 80s by the afternoon with breezy south winds.

The dryline will setup across the Big Country and may spark more storms this afternoon.

A few of these storms could become severe producing large hail and damaging winds.

It will be mostly cloudy overnight with temps remaining in the mid 60s.

Temps reach back into the mid 80s on Thursday with a better chance of scattered strong to severe storms.

The dryline sets up across the middle of the Big Country and a stalled cold front to the north will all aid in storm development.

Best rain chances though will be on Friday for this week.
