Trackin widespread showers Sunday
A stalled cold front will keep good rain chances in the forecast Sunday.
Saturday night we'll see showers south of the Heartland. Clouds will increase for the rest of the area towards sunrise Sunday.
Temps Sunday will start out in the low 60s with a 50% chance for showers and storms.
The rain chances will go up throughout the day with an 80% chance for rain by lunchtime.
Highs will warm into the low 70s by the end of the afternoon.
Shower chances continue overnight and into Monday as a disturbance moves across the state from the southwest.
We'll see the low 60s Monday morning with highs warming into the upper 70s by the afternoon.
A 70% chance for rain is in the forecast for Monday and Monday night.
By Tuesday we're tracking possible rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches.
A potent cold front will sweep through the region Tuesday afternoon. Throughout the day we're tracking a 60% chance for showers and t'storms.
Highs will warm into the low 70s with mostly cloudy skies.
Overnight, we'll see a 30% chance for t'showers with lows in the low 50s.
Wednesday, there is a slight chance for morning showers but the rest of the day will be drier.
Highs will warm into the mid 60s.
Thursday morning, clear skies and calm winds will bring about a good cooling setup with lows in the mid 40s.
By the afternoon warm to around 70 with clear skies.
High pressure will keep things dry through the start of next weekend.
Friday and Saturday highs will warm into the 70s with sunny skies.
