ABILENE, Texas -

A cold front should move eastward through our region during the day Saturday.  Expect some rain with temperatures in the 70s all day.

Showers and thundershowers should be found in areas west of Abilene before sunrise Saturday.  The Abilene area will likely see rain before noon.  Showers should reach the Brownwood area about mid-afternoon.

The weather dangers we are tracking are locally heavy rainfall and lightning.  Do NOT drive through any flooded roads and get inside if you hear thunder.

Showers should be ending from west to east Saturday afternoon.  Evening showers will be possible mainly in the Heartland Saturday night.

Look for mostly sunny skies Sunday with lows around 60 and highs around 80.
