ABILENE, Texas -

We'll see temperatures warming into the mid to upper 80s by the end of the week but shower chances are here by the weekend.

Clear skies and cool temps are back tonight with lows in the low 50s.

Tuesday we're tracking sunny skies and slightly warmer temps. Highs will make it into the mid 80s with a breezy south wind at 10 to 15 mph.

High pressure continues to dominate the weather with clear skies in the mid 50s.

By Wednesday afternoon we'll see highs in the mid 80s with partly cloudy skies. Things will get a little breezier from the south at 10 to 20 mph.

High pressure will begin to push east, allowing a bit more moisture to come up from the Gulf of Mexico.

Thursday, we'll see highs in the mid 80s.

Friday, there's a slight chance for showers in the afternoon as the dryline approaches from the west.

Any rain will end overnight but more showery weather is back by the weekend.

A weak cold front will stall out Saturday, bringing about a 20% chance for showers and storms. Highs will warm to around 80 thanks to a bit more cloud cover.

Sunday and Monday we're tracking weak disturbances that will keep the 20% chance for showers going.

Highs will make it into the low 80s both days.
