ABILENE, Texas -

We should start off Thursday with very cool temperatures - in the lower to middle 40s.  Look for nice sunshine and south winds to push temperatures back up into to around 70 Thursday afternoon.

We are tracking a cold front that should move through our region Friday afternoon and evening.  Scattered showers or thundershowers are likely with the front in the Big Country during the day Friday.

The Concho Valley and Heartland look to have the best chance of thundershowers late afternoon and early evening.  This could affect some football games is this region.

Low temperatures Friday morning should be around 50 with afternoon readings near 70.

Skies should clear from north to south Friday night.  Another chilly start to the day is expected for Saturday with sunrise temperatures in the lower 40s.

Mostly fair skies and dry weather are forecast for Saturday and Sunday.  High temperatures Saturday should be in the middle to upper 60s.  Sunday's high temperatures should be back into the lower 70s.
