ABILENE, Texas -

We are tracking a cold front that should move into the Big Country Friday afternoon.  It is expected to trigger thundershowers with isolated storms possible.  The main dangers should be lightning with the stronger storms possibly producing some small hail.

Storms should move into the Heartland and Concho Valley Friday evening.  Dry weather is likely over our region by midnight with clearing skies from north to south overnight.

Temperatures ahead of the front Friday should reach the lower 70s.  Strong north winds Friday night will bring colder air back for Saturday.  Temperatures for the football games should be in the 50s.  Look for lows Saturday morning in the lower 40s.  High temperatures Saturday should be in the middle 60s.
