ABILENE, Texas -

Cloudy skies, warm and windy conditions returned to our region Thursday and should continue Thursday night.  Low temperatures should only fall into the upper 50s Friday morning.

A cloudy sky should become partly cloudy by Friday afternoon.  Look for high temperatures back up around 80.  Watch out for strong south winds at 20-30 mph.

A cold front is forecast to move in late Friday night / Saturday morning.  The best chance of heavy rainfall and storms is expected to pass to our east.  Just light showers are possible for our area Saturday morning.

Skies should clear from north to south Saturday afternoon.   Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to linger just south of our region Saturday night and Sunday.

Temperatures are expected to be just a little cooler for the weekend.  Look for highs in the middle 70s with lows in the middle 50s.
