A disturbance will bring scattered showers to portions of the Heartland and Concho Valley this afternoon.
Most of the region will stay dry with a good mix of clouds and sun. Look for highs this afternoon in the mid 90s with a south wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Overnight, any showers will move out of the area, leaving us under partly cloudy skies. We'll cool into the mid 70s with winds gusting up to 20 mph.
Rain chances dissipate Tuesday as high pressure settles in. Tuesday afternoon, temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 90s. Partly cloudy skies will continue into the evening hours with lows cooling into the mid 70s.
Wednesday and Thursday, we'll see plenty of sunshine with highs warming into the upper 90s and low triple digits.
The triple digit heat will become more widespread Friday along with sunny skies.
By the weekend, look for highs in the upper 90s and low triple digits. We'll keep the nighttime lows in the mid to upper 70s.
Look for slightly cooler temps Sunday as moisture returns from the Gulf of Mexico. We'll see highs in the low to mid 90s and, for now, keep things dry.
