Tracking slight rain chances Independence Day
We're tracking the chance for showers and thundershowers throughout the day Thursday.
Throughout the day we'll see scattered showers and thundershowers as a disturbance moves across the region. Look for a good mix of clouds and sun with highs in the low 90s this afternoon.
As we head into the evening hours, our rain chances begin to dissipate with partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will cool into the mid to upper 60s.
We'll fall into a quiet weather pattern for the days to come with mostly sunny skies sticking around through the middle of next week.
High pressure will be returning to west Texas keeping our rain chances out.
Look for highs Friday in the mid to upper 90s with nighttime lows cooling into the upper 60s and low 70s.
Through the weekend we'll see highs continuing into the mid 90s.
By Wednesday of next week, the high pressure will still be with us, keeping high temps in the mid to upper 90s.
