Tracking the chance for a wet weekend ahead
Dry weather continues for the next few days but shower and storm chances will stick around through the weekend.
This evening, clouds will increase across the region with lows cooling to around 60 degrees.
Thursday, after a cloudy start to the day, we'll see some clearing with afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
A similar setup is in store for Thursday night. Clouds increase towards sunrise with lows around 64 degrees.
We're tracking a weak cold front nearing the area Friday but it will stall before it moves completely through. Highs will warm to around 84 with a 10% chance for showers.
Saturday, the cold front will likely still linger around our northern counties and will act as a focal point for showers and t'storms.
Highs will warm to around 84 with mostly cloudy skies and a 30% chance for rain.
Sunday begins in the mid 60s before warming up to around 83. The shower chances continue as moisture filters in from the Gulf of Mexico.
The rain chances will stay with us through Monday and into Tuesday morning.
A potent cold front will push the showers to the southeast Tuesday morning, leaving behind drier air and cooler temps.
Highs Tuesday will warm to around 70 degrees followed by a nighttime temp in the low 50s.
Wednesday, we're tracking clear skies with highs in the mid 70s.
