ABILENE, Texas -

After a nice morning of rain, we're drying out and warming up for the next few days.

Monday night, look for partly cloudy skies with temps cooling down into the upper 60s and low 70s.

We're tracking a mostly sunny day Tuesday with highs in the mid 90s by the afternoon. Northeast winds won't bring too much relief, blowing in at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday starts out around 70 degrees before warming into the mid 90s by the afternoon.

High pressure returns to the area and will keep things dry through much of the week ahead.

We'll see mostly sunny skies Thursday with a slight chance for showers in our southern counties, mainly during the afternoon hours. Highs will warm into the mid 90s.

Friday, more of the same with afternoon shower chances in the Concho Valley and Heartland.  Highs will kick up a few degrees, warming into the upper 90s.

Into the weekend we'll see partly to mostly cloudy afternoons with highs in the mid to upper 90s.
