Over the next few days we'll see a modest warm up but changes are on the way.
Tuesday we're tracking temperatures warming into the mid 90s with plenty of sunshine. We'll see high pressure returning to the region, keeping the heat in place. Moisture will continue to filter in from the Gulf of Mexico but no rain is in the forecast for us today.
Tonight, things will stay clear as temperatures cool into the mid 70s.
Wednesday, we're tracking more of the same as highs warm into the mid to upper 90s. Sunshine will give way to clear skies overnight with lows in the mid to upper 70s.
We'll keep highs in the upper 90s and low triple digits Thursday with more sunshine.
We're tracking our next cold front for the end of your work week. It'll begin to approach the region overnight on Thursday, bringing slight rain chances to folks in the northern Big Country.
Throughout the day on Friday we'll see the front continue to sag south. As it does, we'll keep the chance for showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. Rain chances look especially good Friday night. We'll still see highs warming into the mid 90s.
Saturday, this front will stall out so we'll keep slight rain chances in the forecast. Things will dry out for us throughout the day with highs warming into the low 90s.
Sunday and into Monday, we'll see our rain chances dissipate with highs warming back into the mid 90s.
