ABILENE, Texas -

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of our region through 6 AM Tuesday morning.  Watch out for icy spots on bridges, overpasses and even some surface roads from freezing drizzle.

The drizzle should move south out or our region before sunrise Tuesday.  Much of our area will have clear skies by sunrise.  The sunny skies and afternoon temperatures around 40 should melt away this latest coating of ice.

Fair skies and freezing temperatures are back for Tuesday night with lows in the middle to upper 20s Wednesday morning.  Enjoy another day with some sunshine Wednesday and afternoon temperatures around 40.

Clouds are expected for Wednesday night and yet another cold front moves in.  Look for lows Thursday morning in the lower 20s.  Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected for Thursday with highs around 40.

Rain showers are forecast to move in Thursday night, but move out Friday morning.  Right now, we are forecasting temperatures to be above freezing for Thursday night.  However, we could see some sleet as the showers begin, but it should change over to rain.

Dry weather with highs in the 50s is expected for Friday afternoon through Sunday.
